To guarantee the "wine matrix" effect, each TITRIVIN reference wine is prepared by the careful blending of wines and must from different origins so that parameters are adjusted to the target values. These values are chosen to form well-distributed, consistent ranges.
The only exogenous additive is SO2, used in the usual dosages in oenology.

The blends are then stabilised by physical processes and packaged in perfectly homogeneous batches.
The reference values are drawn from the results of a series of international inter-laboratory tests. All of those taking part are accredited by COFRAC, the French accreditation body, or by their national accreditation authority.
Only official OIV and/or EC analysis methods are used.

All procedures comply with the recommendations in the ISO 34 and ISO 35 Guides for making reference materials.
The manufacturing process is subject to quality controls and meets the requirements of ISO 9001, 2000 version, standards.

The certificate issued in mid-2004 by AFAQ, the leading French certification body, is a further guarantee that you are dealing with a reliable organisation acting in compliance with standards and regulations.
